The Greater Vegas Area's Best HVAC Services
Licensed HVAC Service for Las Vegas Homes and Businesses
Most duct cleaning companies find a problem and hand you a phone number. Duct-Pro is different because owner Elon holds a Nevada C-21B refrigeration and air conditioning contractor license, number 0091414, and he earned it the hard way. Nevada requires four years of qualifying experience, so he went and worked for an HVAC company while running his own business, purely to log the hours. His reasoning was simple: to solve the problem you have to be able to do everything, and duct cleaning alone kept stopping short. So when we inspect a system and find the real issue is a failing capacitor, a refrigerant charge that is off, a coil past cleaning, or equipment genuinely at the end of its life, we can tell you and we can fix it. Our work runs from seasonal maintenance through repair to full system replacement, backed by $5 million in umbrella coverage.

Repair or Replace? How We Talk You Through It
There is no clean rule for repair versus replacement, but there is a way to think about it. Age matters, because systems designed for 15 to 20 years often do not make it past 10 to 12 unmaintained. So does what the repair costs against what the system is worth: a capacitor on a nine year old unit is easy, a compressor on a fourteen year old unit rarely is. So does what it costs to run, because some systems are not broken, they are simply expensive. And so does the ductwork, which gets missed constantly. New equipment on ducts leaking 20 to 30 percent of their air will disappoint from day one. We inspect the ductwork before quoting a system, every time.

Frequently Asked HVAC Questions
Is Duct-Pro actually a licensed HVAC contractor?
Yes. Owner Elon holds a Nevada C-21B refrigeration and air conditioning contractor license, number 0091414, which requires four years of qualifying experience in the state. He logged those years working for an HVAC company while running Duct-Pro, specifically so the company could fix what it kept finding rather than referring the work out to somebody else. You can verify the license with the Nevada State Contractors Board.
How often should an HVAC system be serviced?
Twice a year is the standard, once before cooling season and once before heating season, and it matters more here than in milder climates. An unmaintained system loses roughly 5 percent of its efficiency per year, and systems designed for 15 to 20 years commonly fail at 10 to 12 without service. In a valley where an August failure is genuinely dangerous, that is not a small difference.
Do you offer a maintenance plan?
We do not sell a plan or a membership. If you want spring and fall visits, tell us and we will get you scheduled. We would rather earn the repeat visit than sign you up for something you forget you are paying for every month. If that ever changes we will say so plainly, but right now there is no agreement to enroll in and no contract for you to read through.
We do not sell a membership. We schedule spring and fall tune ups on request at $99, and an HVAC diagnostic is also $99, so a licensed technician can tell you what is actually wrong before you spend anything else. Both are on our pricing page.
Should I repair my system or replace it?
It depends on age, what the repair costs relative to a new system, and how much the current system is costing you to run every month. We will give you the honest version, including the times when a repair is the smarter use of your money. We also check the ductwork first, because new equipment installed on leaking or undersized ducts will underperform no matter what you spend on it.
Do you install new systems as well as repair them?
Yes, full system installation, sized to the home rather than matched to whatever was there before. We evaluate the ductwork as part of the quote and handle any duct modifications the new equipment needs, so the system actually performs to its rating. Skipping that step is the single most common reason a brand new system disappoints the person who just paid for it.
